WHY TSRD
TSRD brings more than five decades of grassroots rural development experience, a decentralized implementation model and strong community participation to every partnership.
Our approach goes beyond implementing individual activities. We work to strengthen community institutions, local capacities, sustainable livelihoods and linkages with government systems and resource agencies so that development can continue beyond the project period.

Support women farmers and rural entrepreneurs through SHGs, livelihood promotion, capacity building and producer institutions. TSRD has promoted more than 6,000 Women Self-Help Groups and has supported 1,700 women farmers as Lakhpati Kisan.

Create safer futures for vulnerable children through rescue, rehabilitation, educational support and pathways into formal education and vocational training. TSRD has rescued and rehabilitated 525 vulnerable children and rescued 1,150 child labourers in Dakshin Dinajpur, mainstreaming them into education and vocational training.

TSRD follows a structured development process built around planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement. Projects begin with ground-level information gathered through community meetings, Focus Group Discussions, resource assessment and stakeholder consultations. Progress is then monitored against programme objectives, with gaps identified and interventions improved as required.
