Projects

Our Approach

Projects are not
delivered to villages.
They are built with them.

Every TSRD initiative begins in a village meeting and ends in local hands. We invest in institutions — collectives, committees, cooperatives — so change outlives the funding cycle.

Impact Story

10. Story of Change

One woman, one collective, one island economy.

TSRD’s women-focused programmes demonstrate how collective institutions can become platforms for livelihood development, confidence and local leadership.

Women’s SHGs create spaces for savings, knowledge sharing, livelihood planning and participation in community decision-making. These collectives can also become pathways to agriculture, enterprise and producer institutions.

Across its project units, TSRD has promoted more than 6,000 Women Self-Help Groups, while 1,700 women farmers have been promoted as Lakhpati Kisan.
